The cached value is then retrieved from the table and displayed to the user. If the cache key doesn’t exist, a new row is inserted into the table with the cache key and value. This example demonstrates how to check if a cache key exists in the cache table, and if it does, how to update the cached value. Cache busting is not used with per session counters, which count unique users only once per session, because its up to you to determine how sessions are.
